Witnessing Violence: Help or Harm? Exhibit opening

TJMHC is excited to announce the opening of our new Allen & Marianne Langer Contemporary Human Rights Exhibit, Witnessing Violence: Help or Harm? Doors will open at 6 PM for the public to hear from staff about the exhibit process, enjoy light refreshments, and discuss the exhibit in an open setting.

Witnessing Violence: Help or Harm? calls into question the utility and potential side-effects of the circulation and educational/motivational repurposing of violent imagery in contemporary society. Engaging with multiple forms of these images, the exhibit aims to change the way visitors think about their engagement with atrocity imagery in their day to day lives, especially now in the digital age.

This event is free but registration is required.
